Sega Pico Roms Details
Sega Pico, also known as the "Kids Computer Pico," a fourth-generation gaming console launched in 1993 in Japan and in 1994 in the US and Europe by Sega Company. The main goal of the console was to get younger kids excited about video games, with a focus on learning games. Sega Pico was intended primarily for an audience of children aged 2 to 8 years, and the advertising slogan was "the computer that considers it a toy". Sega Pico, who did not like the laptop, did not have his own screen and therefore had to be connected to the TV. Pico cartridges, called "storyware", were definite books with colorful illustrations. The players could turn the pages of this little book so that the image matches the image on the screen and the game is controlled by a special touch panel on the console. The direct control was carried out with a "magic" pen (Sega Pico Pen) and buttons. Each page of the book was like a platform where actions took place: the player could interact with the image on the page using a "magic" pen and make the actions appear on the TV screen. All games for Sega Pico have been rated "EC" by the ESRB.
The games for Sega Pico were released exclusively for children. Among them were educational games and brains that would teach a child how to count, alphabet, colors, and so on. Many Sega and Disney games have been released. Today we have smartphones and tablets with many of the games, but you can always show your kids exclusive Sega Pico games. Just download the emulator and the Sega Pico-Roms games and run them on your PC, smartphone or tablet.
