Commodore Pet Roms Details

Commodore PET 2001 is the rare computer that was launched in January 1977 by Commodore International. Few know that the company, which became known as the maker of the world's best-selling Commodore 64 computer, began producing typewriters and calculators. And it would continue to sell if Texas Instruments did not raise the price of chips in the second half of the 1970s, which would kill many partners. At that time, Commodore's founder, Jack Tremiel, decided to look for a new chip supplier and eventually bought MOS Technology, Inc., on the basis of which he launched a new KIM-1 single-board microcomputer (the Protodore PET prototype) the 6502 microprocessor had been used in many popular computers: Apple II, Atari 400, Atari 800, AIM-65 and others.

Many games for Commodore PET have been released and most of them can be downloaded for free in our Rome games section. With the help of the emulator you can easily run them on your computer.
